1.1. Welcome to Human Study, operated by Human Study Hub EOOD, a company registered in Bulgaria, UIC 208267975, with registered office and address: JK Strelbishte, block 24, ap. 14, Sofia, Bulgaria, represented by its manager Yaroslav Yatsenko.
1.2. Through this website, Human Study Hub EOOD provides an online service called "Human Study", or hereinafter "the Service", as described below in section 2.
1.3. By registering on the website and/or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1.4. These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, form a legally binding agreement between Human Study Hub EOOD and you. Where certain data processing activities require your consent under applicable law, such consent is provided separately, in the manner and under the conditions set out in the Privacy Policy.
2.1. The Service provides access to a set of digital tools for personal reflection, self-observation, and psychological work, including but not limited to tools for exploring and tracking thoughts, feelings, needs, beliefs, internal conflicts, subpersonalities, and other related personal processes.
2.2. The Service is intended for personal self-development and self-observation, as well as for educational and consultative use, including as a supporting tool in the work of psychologists and other professionals in supporting professions, for example as part of homework, preparation for a consultation, or follow-up reflection between sessions.
3.1. The Service is a set of digital tools for self-observation, personal reflection, and structured psychological work. It does not provide medical, psychiatric, psychotherapeutic, or psychological diagnosis, treatment, emergency assistance, or individual professional consultation.
3.2. The Service may support personal self-understanding and the work of psychologists and other professionals as a supporting tool, including within homework, preparation for a consultation, or reflection between sessions, but does not replace professional assistance or the therapeutic process itself.
3.3. The information, visualisations, and results provided through the Service are of a supporting, educational, and informational nature and should not be understood as individual medical, psychiatric, psychological, or psychotherapeutic advice.
3.4. If you are experiencing serious difficulties related to your mental or physical health, you should promptly seek assistance from a qualified doctor, psychologist, psychotherapist, psychiatrist, or other appropriate professional.
3.5. The Service is not intended for crisis intervention, emergency psychological or psychiatric assistance, or for situations where there is a risk of self-harm or causing harm to others.
4.1. To use the Service, you must be at least 16 years old. By registering and/or using the Service, you declare that you meet this requirement and that you provide accurate information about your age.
4.2. If you provide false information about your age or use the Service in violation of these Terms of Service, you bear responsibility for this. Human Study Hub EOOD is not liable for use of the Service in violation of these requirements by persons who have falsely declared their age.
5.1. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all actions performed through it, unless there is unauthorised access that is not attributable to you.
5.2. Upon registration and when using the Service, you agree to provide true, accurate, and up-to-date information and to keep it updated as necessary.
5.3. Human Study Hub EOOD has the right to temporarily restrict, suspend, or terminate access to an account where a violation of these Terms of Service or applicable law is established, or where this is necessary to protect the security of the Service or other users.
6.1. The Service is currently provided free of charge.
6.2. Human Study Hub EOOD reserves the right to introduce paid features or paid access to certain parts of the Service in the future, with prior notice provided in an appropriate manner through the website and/or through the user's account.
7.1. You retain ownership and all rights to the content you create, enter, or provide through the Service ("Content").
7.2. For the purpose of providing, maintaining, and technically operating the Service, you grant Human Study Hub EOOD a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to process (collect, record, organise, structure, store) your Content to the extent necessary to provide the Service, under the conditions of these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, and applicable law.
7.3. You are responsible for ensuring that your Content does not violate applicable law, the rights of third parties, or these Terms of Service.
7.4. Human Study Hub EOOD is not liable for User Content created, entered, or published by users, except as provided by applicable law.
8.1. We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), as well as in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
8.2. We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures, including encryption where applicable.
8.3. Depending on applicable law and the specific legal basis for processing, you have the right of access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
8.4. Given the nature of the Service, the Content you provide may contain personal data, including data related to emotional states, beliefs, or other sensitive aspects of your personal life. When you provide such data through the Service, you do so at your own discretion and under the conditions described in the Privacy Policy and, where applicable, after providing explicit consent.
8.5. Detailed information regarding the categories of personal data, purposes, legal bases, retention periods, recipients, and your rights is set out in the Privacy Policy. Where consent is required for certain processing activities under applicable law, such consent is provided separately in an appropriate electronic manner and is duly documented by Human Study Hub EOOD.
9.1. The Service, its original content (excluding content provided by users), design, texts, visualisations, software code, structure, features, and functionality are the property of Human Study Hub EOOD and are protected under applicable intellectual property law.
9.2. The names, trade designations, graphics, and logos used in connection with the Service belong to Human Study Hub EOOD. You are not granted any right to use such designations independently, outside the ordinary use of the Service, without the prior written consent of Human Study Hub EOOD.
9.3. To the extent applicable, the original structure, selection, arrangement, visualisation, description, and software implementation of the tools provided through the Service are protected under applicable law. This clause shall not be interpreted as a claim to exclusive rights over generally known ideas, methods, concepts, or approaches as such.
9.4. Psychologists, trainers, teachers, and other professionals may use the Service as a supporting tool in their work, including directing their clients, participants, or trainees to specific tools on the website, provided that each reference clearly states the source and includes an active hyperlink to the relevant page of the Service. If their clients provide access to their profiles, those clients are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their data.
9.5. Without the prior written consent of Human Study Hub EOOD, copying, adapting, reproducing, publishing, distributing, or making available to third parties the content, visualisations, texts, or software implementation of the Service is not permitted, except where expressly permitted by law or under these Terms of Service.
9.6. Nothing in these Terms of Service grants you any ownership rights over the Service or the intellectual property objects related to it, beyond the limited right to use the Service for its intended purpose and in accordance with these Terms of Service.
10.1. You agree to use the Service in good faith, lawfully, and in accordance with these Terms of Service.
10.2. Any actions that lead or may lead to unauthorised access to the Service, violation of its security, misuse, or causing harm to Human Study Hub EOOD, other users, or third parties are prohibited.
10.3. Using the Service to publish, transmit, store, or process content that is unlawful, misleading, infringes third-party rights, or otherwise violates applicable law is prohibited.
10.4. Using technical means, automated scripts, bots, or other methods to interfere with the normal functioning of the Service is prohibited, unless expressly authorised by Human Study Hub EOOD.
11.1. The Service is provided "as available" and "as is", to the extent permitted by applicable law, without express or implied warranties regarding its availability, continuity, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or correspondence to specific user expectations.
11.2. Human Study Hub EOOD does not guarantee that the Service will operate continuously, timely, securely, or without errors.
11.3. Human Study Hub EOOD does not guarantee that content stored through the Service will not be lost, corrupted, delayed, or inaccessible due to technical failures, interruptions, actions of third parties, or other circumstances beyond the company's reasonable control.
11.4. Nothing in this section limits the obligations of Human Study Hub EOOD under applicable law regarding personal data security, confidentiality of information, and notification of the CPDP and users where such notification is required by law.
12.1. The Service is used at the user's own discretion and risk.
12.2. The user is responsible for how they interpret, use, and apply the information, content, visualisations, and results provided through the Service.
12.3. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Human Study Hub EOOD is not liable for decisions, actions, omissions, or consequences arising from the user's use of the Service.
12.4. The Service does not replace professional medical, psychological, psychotherapeutic, or other specialised assistance when such assistance is necessary.
12.5. The Service is not intended for use in crisis, emergency, or high-risk situations, including where there are suicidal thoughts, impulses to self-harm, thoughts or intentions to cause harm to others, severe psychological distress, or conditions requiring immediate professional intervention.
12.6. If while using the Service you experience a loss of control, severe psychological distress, thoughts of self-harm, or thoughts of causing harm to others, you must immediately stop using the Service and seek emergency assistance from a competent medical, psychiatric, psychological, or other qualified professional, and where necessary, from the relevant emergency services.
12.7. Human Study Hub EOOD has the right at its own discretion to temporarily restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Service where there is evidence of unlawful use, threats, behaviour creating a risk of harm, or other circumstances that may endanger the security of the Service, other users, or third parties.
12.8. Human Study Hub EOOD is not liable for use of the Service in violation of these Terms of Service, including where the user uses the Service to assist, justify, plan, or carry out harmful, violent, or otherwise unlawful conduct.
13.1. Human Study Hub EOOD may temporarily restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms of Service, applicable law, or if your use of the Service creates a risk to the security of the Service, other users, or third parties.
13.2. You may stop using the Service at any time.
13.3. Termination of use of the Service does not release the parties from obligations which by their nature should remain in force after termination, including with regard to data protection, intellectual property, and liability for prior violations.
14.1. Human Study Hub EOOD reserves the right to amend and supplement these Terms of Service.
14.2. In the event of a material change to the Terms of Service, users will be notified in an appropriate manner through the Service and/or through their account.
14.3. Continued use of the Service after the relevant changes take effect shall be deemed acceptance of the updated Terms of Service.
15.1. These Terms of Service are governed and interpreted in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Bulgaria.
